Health Warrior Chia Bars

Update: This giveaway is now closed. Thanks to all who entered!

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to try out Health Warrior Chia Bars in 4 of their 6 flavors. I was set for snacks for quite a while thanks to the generous sample package they sent me.

Good quality snacks are hard to find, so when I stumble upon them I always want to share them with you right away. So that’s the plan today! I’ve teamed up with Health Warrior to bring you a giveaway of their bars to not just one but TWO of you! Read on for the details.

Coconut Chia Bar

Each bar is packed with omega-3 fats (hello, brain boost!) as well as antioxidants, fiber, and plant-based protein. The bars are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and vegan with no more than 5 grams of (natural) sugar per bar.

I first tried the coconut flavor. I love coconut, so I knew this one would be a winner with me. I loved the tropical flavor. It made me want a tropical vacation to go along with it!

Apple Chia Bar

The apple cinnamon flavor was mild and fruity without being too sweet. I enjoyed it on the run one afternoon when I was out running errands. It was such a nice alternative to the bag of almonds I usually stash in my purse.

Health Warrior Acai Chia Bar

Surprisingly, the acai berry flavor was my least favorite. I’m not sure why, as I usually love “superfruits.” I just didn’t care for this one all that much. That said, it still made a nutritious snack and I enjoyed it.

Health Warrior Banana Chia Bar

Up until this point, the apple cinnamon bar was my favorite….until I bit into the banana nut. I loved it! Normally banana flavored bars are way too sweet for my tastes, but this bar was mild and flavorful. The crunch of the chia seeds paired nicely with the subtle sweetness of the banana. I washed it down with a glass of cold homemade hemp milk and was satisfied all afternoon!

I’m still figuring out a way to incorporate more of chia seeds in my diet, but I do include ground chia seeds in a teff brownie recipe that’s pretty good! Would love to try these bars though as it’s hard to find a grain free snack when you’re on the go.

  47. I “liked” Daily Bites on FB

  48. My favorite way to chia is to create an ‘almond joy’ pudding. To my chia which has been soaked overnight I add cocoa powder, stevia and a touch of vanilla, stir really well, add some unsweetened coconut flakes, stir again…it’s getting really thick by this point, and then stir in some raw almonds. Delish!

  49. My husband and I enjoy chia seeds in several ways. I add chia to my smoothies and also when I juice in the morning. Hubby sprinkles it liberally on his morning bowl of cereal. I have also made chia chocolate pudding. I’d love a “portable” chia burst of nutrition!

  59. Chia seeds are a staple in my home. I keep a 25 lb. bag in the cupboard. We enjoy Chia porridge every morning. I make it with soaked chia seeds, blueberries, coconut oil, stevia, salt, almond butter, almond flour then I top it with homemade almond yogurt and mixed nuts. In the past, I made Power Pudding with chia , nuts, and dates. It was dynamite too!
