Le Creuset Skillet Giveaway!

Update 9/20: This giveaway is now closed. Thanks to all who entered!

Did you know that September is National Organic Harvest Month?

I have the perfect giveaway for you today that’s going to make cooking up all your beautiful organic produce that much more fun. In partnership with Le Creuset, today I’m giving away a stainless steel 11-inch fry pan (a $115.00 value) to one lucky winner.

If you don’t have any cookware from Le Creuset, start making your Christmas list now and put Le Creuset at the top. I first got hooked on their enameled cast iron cookware a few years ago when I received a beautiful ruby red French oven as a Christmas gift. Oh my goodness, how I love it! Especially as we head into the cooler months, it is perfect for making soups, stews, and braises.

Le Creuset is the epitome of quality when it comes to cookware. I am a firm believer that investing in high quality pots, pans, cooking utensils, and storage containers is one of the best things you can do as a cook. These are your “tools of the trade” and should be selected, purchased, and maintained with great care.

But today you don’t have to spend a dime because one of you will win a beautiful 11-inch stainless steel fry pan crafted by one of the finest cookware companies in existence!

Keep up with all the Le Creuset happenings on Twitter (@LeCreuset) and Facebook.

  162. A wonderful mix of sweet potato, kale, garlic and peas… topped with a delightfully fresh lemon ginger sauce!

  163. I have several pieces of 18/10 stainless steel & I love cooking with them. Although I don’t have this 11″ pan, I would love to put it with the rest of my stainless steel collection. These pans are perfect for those of us who have to cook gluten-free, also. I don’t really like the pans that have the coating on them because I feel some of that coating can come off and get into the foods we eat. I don’t feel that is healthy for humans to eat from the type of cookware that is coated with that non-stick stuff. I’ve grown to love eating fresh foods rather than the processed foods. I have the books “Super Healthy Cookies” & “Crazy for Kale”. They are just fantastic books, too. I love reading cookbooks like some people read a mystery or a novel of any kind.

I would make skillet souffle. Basically, pour a bit of olive oil in, add fresh veggies from that I buy each week at the farm market. I would use a leek, sweet red pepper (garmin), spinach, swiss chard, and garlic. Saute veggies until lightly softened, add six eggs beaten. Then cover add cook slowly. When firm add cheese of choice on top, cover and let melt.
In the meantime, I would take homemade salsa (not pico de gallo) and warm it. Cut a piece of souffle and add warm salsa over the top. Had this this morning acutally.

  253. The first thing will definately have an excellent sauce from searing an amazing peice of meat and deglazing with a yummy wine. Possibly steak with a mushroom sauce, or chicken legs with a good gravy, or an excellent stir fry.
