It’s a BIG day! Today I am releasing my brand new e-book, Crazy for Kale: Glow from the Inside Out with 40 Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free Recipes.

Yep. Forty recipes featuring my all time favorite, most dearly beloved, can’t-live-without vegetable: KALE!

Since last summer, I’ve been having fun in the kitchen with kale coming up with recipe after recipe that feature this amazing powerhouse of a food. You might think I’d be sick of kale by now, but I’m pretty sure that’s impossible.

Crazy for Kale offers 40 wholesome recipes that make the most of kale in everything from salads to main dishes to snacks and sweet treats. Whether you’re a longtime kale lover or new on the leafy green scene, you’ll find yourself making these healthy recipes again and again. Crazy for Kale also teaches you about kale’s many health benefits, how to properly store it, and the most common varieties available.

Flavorful yet approachable, all of the recipes in Crazy for Kale are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and refined sugar-free with many grain-free and vegan options. Here’s a little taste of what you’ll find inside:

  • Orange Greensicle Smoothie
  • Tropical Asian Fusion Salad
  • Chocolate Buckwheat Brownies (yes, brownies!)
  • Pistachio Banana Ice Cream (yes, ice cream!)
  • 33 Paleo/grain-free recipes
  • 31 vegan or optionally vegan recipes
  • Nearly 30 beautiful, full-color photos in the PDF

-

Reasonably priced at just $5.99 (that’s just $0.14 per recipe), the e-book comes to you in the form of a convenient PDF that you can download safely and securely to read on your Mac, PC, and most smartphones. (For the Kindle version, click here.)

Crazy for Kale will have you glowing from the inside out in no time as you have fun in the kitchen with one of the world’s healthiest greens!

A few of my blogging pals and I are having a virtual e-book launch party to celebrate our passion for kale. Everyone is sharing a brand new kale recipe or a collection of their favorites today, so make sure you swing by every blog to join in on the kale-licious fun!

-

I truly am through-the-roof excited about this e-book. I love every single recipe, from the salads to the sweet treats, and can’t wait for you to start experiencing the many wonders of kale in your own kitchen.

  1. Congratulations, Hallie! It’s a gorgeous book and I have a HUGE list of recipes I’d like to try from it. Yay for kale! :D

  2. How many of the recipes in the e-book could be considered low carb?

  3. Sally: I guess it depends on your definition of low carb. :) Most of the recipes use fruits and vegetables as the main ingredients. Only a few use grains/flours. There are some recipes with sweet potatoes, winter squash, and bananas, but the majority of the recipes are non-starchy vegetable based.

  4. I’m tempted…. will it be coming in book form at some point? I have both of your books and they are well used… when I do printouts, they tend to fly all over the kitchen (and house) and get me in trouble….

  5. Congrats, Hallie! I love seeing you and all the other kale “experts” share your expertise! Hopefully, your book will take me from novice stage to expert fan in short order. ;-)

FYI, the link to Maggie’s blog is not working.

    Happy launch! xo,
    Shirley

  6. Asoares: Just an e-book for now. :)

  7. So exciting, Hallie!! You are such a busy and talented lady!! This book is amazing… and the cover turned out AWESOME!!
    XO

  8. Congrats Hallie! Love the cover art too :)

  9. Congrats, Hallie! I am so excited for you and grateful to be on the team. :) Just made some of your Super Healthy Cookies for Nate. xoxo

  10. Congratulations! I love kale too and am so thankful that you wrote this e-book. All of the recipes posted by your fabulous group of bloggers look completely delicious and I can’t wait to try each and every one of them.

  11. Congratulations Hallie! This is so awesome!!! Though I didn’t have enough kale love already to join in the party, you can be sure that I’ll be trying some more kale recipes now!

  12. Congrats Hallie! What a fun idea for an e-book! And the photos look gorgeous (of course!)

  13. Congrats on such a beautiful book! I can’t wait to dive in and bring more kale into my kitchen!

  14. Help! I bought the book on my iPad and it allowed me to buy it but of course it didn’t download. I bought it from the li k on Elana’s sight and it didn’t mention it was. PDF . Anyway to still download it on my PC?

  15. Susan: I just emailed you. :)

  16. Hi :) I would like to give your book to my sister as she love kale. How can I purchase this and have it go to her instead of me? Thank you so much!

    Jamie

  17. Jamie: I’ll email you. :)
