Navitas Naturals Superfood Giveaway!

If you’re interested in enriching your diet with more high quality superfoods, than I’ve got just the giveaway for you!

Navitas Naturals has long been one of my favorite companies for great superfood ingredients. Their line of products spans everything from chia seeds to goji berries to unique powders like maca and camu. Like I said before, I don’t believe in “miracle foods,” but I do believe in booster foods that can enhance our diets and provide us with an expanded spectrum of disease-fighting nutrients.

Navitas recently rolled out their goldenberries and goldenberry powder (which is perfect for throwing in smoothies and salad dressings). Goldenberries are great sources of vitamin A, beta-carotene, and bioflavonoids. I am absolutely addicted to the dried goldenberries! They’re moist, plump, chewy, and perfectly tart. While not quite as tart as unsweetened cranberries, they have that “mouth puckering” quality that I just love. Navitas’ dried goldenberries are the perfect snack mixed with some nuts or seeds.

The goldenberries are still my favorites, but the dried mulberries from Navitas are just as delicious. They’re a little sweeter but still have a hint of tartness. Mulberries are a source of vitamin C, fiber, iron, and calcium. I’ve been enjoying them straight from the bag, but they’d make a wonderful addition to hot cereal or porridge, trail mix, granola, and more.

What would a superfood giveaway be without chia seeds? If you haven’t heard about their super healthy powers by now, you’ve surely been living under a rock! I’ve been throwing these little nutrition all-stars on everything lately. Good things really do come in tiny packages. Chia seeds are a fantastic source of omega-3 fats, protein, fiber, and lots of antioxidants.

  1. OMGoodness these look delish!!! I LOVE to use chia seeds in smoothies, water, and puddings. While it all looks great, I think I would be most excited about experimenting with the goldenberry powder. too cool!

  9. Huge chia fan over here! In fact I have even turned it into a side business, I love it so much. I make sure to get my daily dose by starting every morning with a chia hot cocoa or latte (in the winter, anyway, because I just can’t do a cold smoothie anymore.)

  16. I’ve never even heard of goldenberries, but there was a mulberry tree in the backyard of my old apartment, and I used to pick and eat the berries from my balcony. I use chia seeds fairly regularly, and my favorite use is chia pudding.

  17. I use chia seeds mostly for making puddings. Our family favorite is strawberry vanilla made with canned coconut milk.

  28. Ooh! I’m intrigued by these dried fruits! We use superfoods in smoothies (the best way to get them into our kiddos tummies) and occasionally as dessert (our kids think pomegranates are the best of all treats). Thanks for the giveaway!

  40. I make chia seed energy bars!! With chia seeds, dates, and coconut oil, you’ve got a phenomenal base to let your culinary imagination run loose!

  41. I use Chia seeds and Goji berries over fruit and then add granola and coconut milk for a great morning meal. Chia seeds are also great in granola bars and in salads. Super foods can be added to soups as well. Haven’t tried the Goldenberries or Mulberries but would love to!

  90. I use chia seeds daily in my morning smoothie, sometimes for chia puddings. I eat flaxseeds on applesauce or mix them with coconut oil and agave. Mulberries and goldenberries sound quite interesting though I’ve never tried them! I wonder how they’d taste in raw chocolate!

    I have been drinking at least one smoothie if not two a day! I love filling the vitamix full of fruits and veggies and adding an extra superfood like chia or wheatgrass powder. When I create raw dishes I incorporate chia, nuts, seeds, dried fruits and more. I would be interested to see if super foods powders would be a good substitute for a sweetener. Thanks!

  103. I combine the Nativata goji berries and cacao nibs with coconut flakes for a delicious trail mix. I also make a delicious hot cocoa with almond/coconut milk and Navitas cacao powder, sweetened with birch Xylitol – delicious!

  105. Lately I’ve been sprinkling chia seeds on top of my baked oatmeal for breakfast. I love the extra bit of crunch!

  107. I soak goldenberries and mulberries in water overnight to soften them up, then put them on my muesli for breakfast. Yum. I love the tartness of the goldenberries.

    I would love to win. As for cooking with superfooods. I don’t “COOK” them at all. I like to put them in raw snack-treats like fudge babies etc. with nuts,dates,cocoa, honey,coconut oil run thru the food processor form into balls (golf ball size) and chill. and it’s something you like your kids to eat. enjoy It’s a fast to make treat and cures the sweet tooth. win win!     Can’t eat a fruit salad without chia on it. (I eat a fruit salad everyday. I know you don’t have to grind them but I do along with my hemp seed, sesame, and brazil nuts. I just don’t want them passing through without getting all that I can from them. Silly I guess, but I also love the flavor from ground chia etc.

    How do you like to use superfoods in your cooking?

    I sprinkle seeds on my salads.
    I put anything and everything in my smoothies depending on what flavor I’m wanting that day.
    I make chia pudding.

  190. To be honest- the only superfood of the group that I’ve tried are the Chia Seeds! I’d love to try the other berries/powders!

    I try to incorporate them any way I can. I usually add them to my morning breakfast of kefir to thicken it up and add a nice pudding like consistency or throw them in a smoothie. I’ve also really enjoyed making dessert “puddings” out of them with coconut milk, carob poweder & stevia!

    I love to add chia seeds and berries to my cream of quinoa hot cereal I make with almond or coconut milk. It’s the best! Add honey and some nuts and you have a heavenly breakfast!

  236. I am now following their tweets and facebook pages. I love these products. I use them for all my superfoods smoothies, particularly Chia Seeds. I also use them for salad dressing with italian herbs, apple cider vinegar, a dash of salt and pepper and dill mustard. Totally yummy on romaine and other veggies.
