Super Healthy Cookies: 50 Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free Recipes for Delicious & Nutritious Treats is just around the corner. We have a targeted release date of early October when you’ll be able to get it online at Amazon.com. Just in time for all of your holiday baking!

Why I Wrote the Book
I’ve got a sweet tooth and I’m not ashamed to admit it. Over the years, I’ve learned how to make delicious AND nutritious treats that satisfy my cravings without blowing my healthy diet to pieces. I wrote this book because I believe everyone can (and should!) enjoy cookies that are actually good for them even if they taste like indulgent treats.
I started working on the book early this year. All through the spring, I tested cookie recipes like the big blue monster himself. After months of hard work and a lot of baking disasters, I’ve come up with 50 solid recipes that I know you’ll love! Whether you’re new to the world of healthy baking or an old pro, the book offers something unique and appealing to a variety of bakers.

The Virtual Photo Gallery
I’m thrilled to say that the photos inside the book were taken by me, as was the cover photo above. (Those would be the Apple Carrot Quinoa Balls.) But the majority of Super Healthy Cookie photos will be online. Inside the book, you’ll find a link to a special virtual photo gallery. Just enter the link into any web browser and POOF! You’ll get instant full-color photos of over half of the recipes in the book.
But just to whet your appetite, here are a few personal favorites…
Hungry yet?
I know it sounds pretty corny and cliché, but developing these recipes has truly been a labor of love. I feel like each one of the 50 recipes expresses just a little bit of who I am and what I stand for when it comes to living a nourished life. I’ve become very attached to this book throughout the creation process and could not be more pleased with how it has turned out.
Super Healthy Cookies is designed to teach you how to become a healthier baker without having to sacrifice the traits that make cookies so iconic—great flavor and cozy comfort.
So there it is. The cat’s out of the bag—or rather, the cookie’s out of the jar!
Stay connected with me on Facebook and Twitter so that you don’t miss a beat of what’s happening with the new book. Be ready for some celebration come October.
Until then…peace, love, and cookies.

Miss you!
hi, I had a question about some of the recipes that contain oatmeal. I am not suppose to eat oatmeal, could I substitute quinoa for the amount of oatmeal is those recipes? thanks ,
Carrie
Carrie: Yes, you can try substituting quinoa flakes for the oatmeal instead. You may just need more quinoa flakes than the recipe calls for because they tend to absorb less liquid than oats.
